Rustic Rooms

I've always been curious about the store Rustic Rooms, and today I decided to snoop through their website. I found some incredible things and must say their mirrors are particularly amazing.

Oh look, a mirror!

A coat rack! Though it's ambiance would be somewhat lost with how many coats I would pile onto it. I never use any of my coats because I live in Austin, where there's only one season. Called hot.

Hacienda dresser!

Round pedastal table! Lessen the pressure for your guests on taking the host's dominant seat!

El Paso credenza!

Jelly cabinet! That's just a painfully cute concept. A cabinet full of jellies...I don't even have ANY jelly, let alone MANY jellies that would necessitate an entire cabinet....

I could make that jelly cabinet, I'm pretty sure. I think I'm going to just go around collecting driftwood and start making furniture. With how expensive certain furniture pieces are I feel certain it could be lucerative.

Wildflower Organics and Mi Casa

http://wildflowerorganics.com/home.php

This is the website for Wildflower Organics, a local Austin store that has furniture and linens. They have a lot of really great products, and some were too good to not post.

First we have their Pickle Barrel bed frame, and yes, it's actually made from real Pickle Barrels.

Then we have their Brickmaker Dining table that seats 14. It's pretty huge obviously, but I love it because it looks so rustic and full of character. Not to mention pretty sturdy.

Last but not least we have the Bulls-eye Mirror. Love.

I wish I could provide you with more pictures from this fabulous gallery called Mi Casa, but they don't exactly have an expansive online catalog. I will post some Talavera pottery dishes they have, some crosses and a picture of a few furniture pieces. I really like Mexican/New Mexican style plates, tiles, etc. I would love to have a Mexican tile backsplash in my kitchen!

More to come!

Style: A Work In Progress

I keep finding that I want to post more and more blogs about furniture and pieces that I've found that I love, so I'm just going to have a whole blog devoted to it. Kevin and I haven't purchased a home yet, but when we do I want to have a full picture of what style I would like the interior to be. I deleted a blog post I wrote concerning some furniture pieces at Room Service, so I'm reposting that blog now!

There's this store in Austin called "Room Service" that I absolutely adore, and I hadn't been there in a while so I thought I would snoop around online to see what they'd gotten in recently. For example....

How great are these little tables? With a little paint or re-varnishing, adorable.

And I really want this for my kitchen....

And I love these chairs!

Anyway, you get the idea.
